Profits from investments are reinvested, and the company reviews new investment opportunities and makes recommendations to the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation for approval before a new investment is undertaken.

    Athabasca Catering has been in operation since 1992 and employs a workforce of over 500 employees. The company is owned by five First Nation partners which include Kitsaki Management Limited Partnership, English River, Hatchet Lake, Black Lake, and Fond du Lac. Kitsaki is the managing partner and is owned by the Lac La Ronge Indian band. Athabasca Catering is a 100% Saskatchewan First Nation owned Remote Site Catering Company with over 20 years’ experience. We provide a comprehensive package of Camp Catering, Housekeeping, Janitorial and Camp Supply and Management services to remote sites.

    We possess the proven experience and logistical know how to supply a full spectrum of services in remote locations in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

    Caribou Transport LP specializes in hauling freight within central and northern Saskatchewan, providing delivery and pickup service in Prince Albert and various communities near Prince Albert.  Additionally, they have equipment, facilities, and personnel at Wollaston Lake, on the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation.  Caribou Transport serves La Ronge, Air Ronge, Stanley Mission, Grandmothers Bay, Southend, Points North, Black Lake, Stony Rapids and other northern destinations.

    The strength of Caribou Transport LP comes from its people.  Caribou Transports’ dedicated staff includes the former management and staff of Red’s Transport, with drivers who have many years of experience safely delivering goods on time under the extreme hauling conditions often found in central and northern Saskatchewan.
